Subject: UCSF Care Ecosystem Study: Supportive Care Trial

My name is Kristi Lui and I am a clinical research coordinator at UCSF Memory and Aging Center. I am writing in regard to your center's work in Yucca Valley.

We are currently testing a phone-based supportive care program, called the Care Ecosystem, to better understand the situation of many Americans who are caregivers. We have already enrolled more than 500 participants and are continuing to expand our reach throughout California.

With our novel supportive care team, we hope that our study will improve patient and caregiver quality of life. We are currently enrolling people living with all types of dementia, and their caregivers, into our supportive care trial. We provide caregiver support and education; advanced planning for medical, financial, and legal decisions; medication review; and ongoing engagement with the person living with dementia and the caregiver.

Because your center facilitates such a wide breadth of caregiver support in the area, I would love to speak with you further and provide more information about our work here at UCSF. I would be more than happy to mail brochures or flyers with more information.

Please feel free to reach me via email or phone at (415) 353-1989 with any questions, or visit our website at: www.

Thank you for your time!

Kristi Lui
Clinical Research Coordinator, Memory and Aging Center

University of California, San Francisco
675 Nelson Rising Lane, Suite 190 | San Francisco, CA 94158
tel: 415.353.1989
Subject: Tour of Homes

while visiting in your area, I attended the Tour of Homes. What a well hosted event.....I found each house was a different experiences and just the right number of homes to tour. The lunch and music was nice and we visited with area residents who were wonderful to share their past experiences with the Tour. Totally enjoyable ! thank you !
